FOOH-Marketing Videos
Limitless 3D illusions.

What makes a professional FOOH video stand out
The illusion only works if the human eye can't find a flaw. At colourweekly, we focus on the invisible technical details: our camera tracking transfers the natural shake of a handheld camera or drone precisely onto the 3D model. The lighting setup (HDRI) of the real environment is recreated exactly within the 3D scene, ensuring that reflections (e.g., on car paint or displays) and shadow gradients match the original footage 100%. It is only through these details that the original video and 3D rendering merge into a photorealistic whole.

Our Production Process at colourweekly
• Concept & Location Scouting: Together, we develop the core viral idea. We find the right stock footage or film it on location for you ourselves.
• Tracking: Whether high-end with cinema cameras or in an authentic user-generated content (UGC) style with a smartphone, our 3D artists analyze the video and replicate the real camera movement (matchmoving).
• 3D Animation & Lighting: We integrate the 3D product model into the tracked scene. Light, shadows, and reflections are precisely matched to the real ambient light of the video footage.
• Compositing & Post-Production: In the final step, reality and CGI merge. Motion blur, color grading, and immersive sound design perfect the illusion.

FAQ
The price varies greatly depending on the length of the clip and the tracking effort (e.g., obscuring real foreground objects that need to be masked). After a quick look at the raw material and your storyboard, we can immediately and precisely calculate the effort. Starting from 650€.
Absolutely, we can have products on top of buildings, embrace skyscrapers, or roll through shopping streets. Your imagination is the only limit, completely without official road closures or permits for real stunts.
Through precise 3D camera tracking (matchmoving), we transfer every little shake exactly to the digital camera in the 3D space. As a result, the CGI elements appear solidly anchored to the real environment and blend organically into the picture.
Once we receive the real-world video footage, the 3D tracking, shadow matching, and compositing often take just a few days. For complex stunts involving interactions between 3D objects and real buildings, you should plan for one to two weeks of production time.
FOOH marketing videos are predestined for highly dynamic platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The visual "second-glance effect" when a giant product seemingly flies through the real world generates extremely high engagement rates.
Yes. We combine the capabilities of modern AI with precise 3D visualizations to produce content more efficiently and creatively. AI is primarily used to optimize backgrounds, environments, animations, and creative scenarios. However, the actual product is always based on our true-to-life 3D models and remains exactly true to the original in terms of shape, proportions, materials, and details. This results in visually impressive content without compromising the authenticity of your product.
The source material can be obtained in various ways: You can provide your own video or image footage, we can use suitable stock footage, or we can produce the footage ourselves. Upon request, we can also organize a professional camera crew to shoot directly at your desired location. Depending on the campaign’s goals, we seamlessly integrate our 3D models into any of these source materials—whether for authentic social media content or high-quality promotional videos.
FOOH stands for Faux Out-Of-Home. We integrate oversized, photorealistic 3D products seemingly seamlessly into real public spaces – the underlying technology is our Mixed Reality workflow. The result: viral "scroll stoppers" on social media that push the boundaries of reality.
